COLOMBIA, South Carolina – The South Carolina women’s soccer team will host their 14th annual Fan Appreciation Clinic on Wednesday, April 6. The FREE clinic is for girls ages 5-12 and will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Stone Stadium as a thank you. to the fans for their support throughout the season. The clinic was originally scheduled for April 5, but was moved due to forecast rain.
Registration is available online here. Players are asked to bring their own soccer ball.
“We are thrilled to be able to hold our 14th annual fan appreciation clinic this spring,” said the head coach. Shelly Smith said. “Our staff and players look forward each year to the chance to personally thank fans for their support. Our team is able to interact and work with young girls who love the game and those who aspire to be them. Footballers themselves are having a great time and we really appreciate these young ladies and all of our fans who come out and make Stone Stadium such a special place to compete in the fall season.”
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and complimentary food and beverages will be provided before the clinic begins. The clinic will include instructions from South Carolina coaches and players, as well as team scrimmages. The evening ends with a raffle and autographs from the players.
