Twitter is testing a new feature that allows users to subscribe to newsletters with one click through its newly acquired newsletter service, Revue.
Months after acquiring Revue, Twitter integrates the Dutch newsletter subscription service into its platform with a new button on Twitter profiles.
The button allows users to subscribe to newsletters directly from the app, without having to follow links to external websites. Likewise, Revue creators can now add subscribe button to Twitter, by recruiting new subscribers, easily, without diverting them from their profile.

For creators to be able to add the new button on their Twitter profiles, the feature must be enabled in the Review settings.
Once activated, the CTA button will appear as a newsletter card below their Twitter bio, much like a pinned tweet.
The CTA button will be automatically populated with the title of the Revue newsletter, a photo, a short description and the subscribe button.
When users click Subscribe, a dialog box will appear reminding them that they are willing to provide their email address – and it will offer a sample newsletter number before the subscription process is complete.
It’s here
Today we are starting to test a feature that allows you to subscribe to your Revue newsletter directly from your Twitter profile.
It is immediately available to all Revue creators. For starters, your newsletters will only show up for a test group on Twitter. pic.twitter.com/YDa1aOGeLM

Review also announced the feature in a Tweet, claiming that “Review makes it easy for anyone to create and publish newsletters for free, so we want it just as easy to turn your Twitter followers into followers. “
The feature, initially tested in June with a select group of Revue creators, will be available on Android and the web – and iOS will follow soon.
Twitter acquired Revue in January as part of its efforts to provide users with more ways to monetize their presence on its platform.
