Oyo State Police have arrested six suspected members of a bank robbery gang.
Police spokesman Adewale Osifeso said in Ibadan on Monday that among the suspects is a 29-year-old contract and commercial employee at a new generation bank.
He added that the suspects were arrested from their hideout in Agara, Odo-Ona region of Ibadan on June 13 after concluding plans to rob another bank the following day.
Mr Osifeso also said the suspects confessed to involvement in various crimes, including the purchase of weapons and the clandestine gathering of intelligence before the burglaries.
