Personal trainer shouted by neighbor for “violating his human rights”

A personal trainer who exercised was yelled at by his neighbor for apparently “violating” his “human rights”.

Joanne Groves, from London, was leading an online session with a client in her garden when her neighbor yelled at her.

As she did some lunges, she heard her neighbor scream, “Can you stop screaming please?” You are violating my human rights.

As Groves looked up to see what was going on, the neighbor repeated, “You are screaming. ”

Groves then responded by saying she couldn’t have ‘screamed’ as she had tested positive with Covid, which is why she was forced to perform the session from home.

The neighbor did not let go, replying: “Do you have the Covid and are you in your garden?” It means I can’t go in the garden. ”

Current NHS advice does not prohibit those who tested positive for Covid from exercising in their private garden, which Groves was doing in this case.

The personal trainer posted the video to TikTok, which quickly went viral, racking up over 7 million views, 670,000 likes and 9,000 comments.

One person commented, “I can’t believe this is real. YELLING? HUMAN RIGHTS? Is she okay? ”

A second joked, ‘What a sad little life Jane’, while a third wrote, ‘People really have to jump’ sorry, this is just bothering me a little ‘and go straight to’ you’re violating my human rights’.

Groves then posted a follow-up video showing what happened next, where she said to her neighbor, “Oh, for goodness sake grow up.”

The neighbor then replied: “You are going to fuck yourself.”

Groves told the Daily mail: “I teach a 30-minute outdoor class online every day and talk to my client about her movements. It’s ironic because I wasn’t screaming. She was clearly stressed.

She added, “I haven’t spoken to her since, she’ll just have to wait and see that she’s gone viral.”
