About the role:
Our Sydney team is looking for a dynamic, dynamic and enthusiastic Public Relations Coordinator to join the team. The successful candidate will be a persuasive communicator with exceptional written communication skills and an agile, creative and solution-oriented operator. Most importantly, the successful candidate will be ambitious and eager to learn.
This is an entry level opportunity that would be suitable for a recent college graduate or someone with industry experience gained from previous internships.
Daily media watch, monitoring and analysis of media coverage
Work with teams to imagine relevant story angles that we can present to the media
Research, from identifying relevant influencers, media or suppliers and products to media kits, providing costs and rationale
Writing of media and texts on social networks
Speak to media and suppliers on the phone, by email and in person – develop strong relationships in the process
Support the creation, publication and analysis of agency and client social media content campaign
Team administration, from organizing couriers to ordering coffees
This role would be suitable for someone with:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiastic about learning with a positive and dynamic attitude
Highly organized with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and G Suite
A proactive “autodidact” who takes a lot of initiatives
Someone who is not easily disheveled
Good personal time management – can adapt quickly to changing priorities throughout the day
Real interest in pursuing a career in communications
